Based on our successful collaboration with VISION360 MANAGEMENT CONSULTING our project supported by the EU funded Eureka INNOWWIDE grant has been completed with excellent results.
The AsFreeWATER project aims validate the sustainable and cost-effective AsMET arsenic removal solution for rural and isolated regions. By employing the PuraWELL unit with arsenic removal regenerable adsorbent at two locations in Uttar Pradesh state, this initiative demonstrates a transformative approach to water purification, integrating advanced technology into existing infrastructure with minimal investment.
During the closing workshop a comprehensive overview of the project was provided, featuring an analysis of the advanced regenerable arsenic removal adsorbents capability, showcasing the results of a 3 months testing by NABL Certified Lab that AsMET efficiency was over 80% at both locations, keeping Arsenic content under 2 µg/L, which is proving the validity of the technology for application in India. The whole project highlights the significance of international collaboration and the remarkable synergy between Hungarian and Indian expertise. This initiative demonstrated the dedication to global sustainability and technological progress, under the Hungarian Presidency of the European Union.
The closing workshop, attended by representatives of the Indian Water Resources Administration, representatives of large companies, researchers, water professionals, diplomats and experts from the EU Delegation in New Delhi, also reinforces the commitment of international partners to create sustainable and impactful solutions.
We are proud that our regenerable adsorbent-based drinking water treatment solutions are already being used in India. Based on new enquiries following the successful Eureka INNOWWIDE project, we are convinced that we can deliver further successful regional projects in the future.
Our first project in Ghana, the trial operation of our PurAID® modular, mobile, pallet-based water purification equipment installed in the settlement of Akim Wenchi, has been successfully completed. With the help of PurAID®, iron and manganese impurities, as well as disease-causing bacteria, are removed from the water of the public wells of the town of 12,000 inhabitants.
