Manufacturing of surface welded multilayer metals  by explosive cladding technology

Thanks to our experience in the field of explosive metalworkings, our company practises the special explosive cladding technology for producing two- or three-layer metals.
Advantages of the explosive cladding process over the conventional ones:

the high-quality metallurgical bond can be created between normally incompatible metals (e.g. aluminium and steel)
there is no practical limit to the geometry of the metals to be bonded
Very flexible technology, it can be used for almost any combination of materials. Cost-effective solution for the production of bimetallic washers and thermobimetals.

Intro

Our first project in Ghana, the trial operation of our PurAID® modular, mobile, pallet-based water purification equipment installed in the settlement of Akim Wenchi, has been successfully completed. With the help of PurAID®, iron and manganese impurities, as well as disease-causing bacteria, are removed from the water of the public wells of the town of 12,000 inhabitants.

Our last research for CERN was to develop a technology that allows the splices of low-temperature superconducting cables to be in a superconducting state as well, meaning that no voltage is applied to them.
