Students at our plant on sustainability week

Content

On the occasion of the 7th Sustainability Week, Puraset Ltd. hosted two 7th grade students from the local school at its filter media manufacturing plant in Jászfényszaru. The students were welcomed by water treatment experts in two groups of 20-25 students. First, the youngsters were introduced to the link between sustainability and healthy water in a presentation at the factory, where they were given a general introduction to water and the Puraset Ltd water purification filtration equipment. They also learned how these materials are manufactured and how they can be used to purify water. In addition to domestic water, they were also given a global perspective, seeing through photographic images how in Ghana, for example, people and children their age have daily difficulties in accessing clean, healthy drinking water. The speaker, András Szalay, CEO of Puraset Kft, also pointed out that everyone can do something individually to improve the future by consuming water more consciously or by choosing tap water. After the lecture, the children visited the plant, where they were shown the steps of filter material production and the water treatment equipment developed and manufactured by the company. Finally, the Puraset engineers tried to answer all the questions on the subject and to encourage the students to become colleagues in the future.
